Privacy Policy

The short version

RepLog does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Everything you log — sessions, goals, progress, notes — lives in a local SQLite database on your Mac and never leaves it.

What data RepLog stores

RepLog stores the following data locally on your Mac only:

• Practice sessions and segments (start time, end time, duration)
• Goals and their attributes (title, type, BPM targets, notes)
• Progress entries (BPM logged, completion percentages)
• App preferences (metronome settings, window state)

This data is stored in a SQLite database in your Mac’s Application Support directory. You can locate, back up, or delete it at any time.

Microphone access

The chromatic tuner feature uses your Mac’s microphone to detect pitch. macOS will ask for permission the first time you use the tuner. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time — no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Analytics

This website (replog.webeard.com) uses privacy-respecting analytics to count page visits. No personal data, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. The RepLog app itself contains no analytics or telemetry.

Third parties

RepLog does not integrate with any third-party services, does not use advertising networks, and does not sell or share any data with anyone.

In-app purchases

Pro purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. RepLog never sees your payment information.
